Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Englewood, CO for a Part 135 Chief Pilot. The Part 135 Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing flight operations and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. The Chief Pilot will also manage a team of pilots, oversee training and development, and coordinate with other departments to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
Type rating in one of the following preferred: G200, HS125, CE560XL/XLS, Lear45 or CE525
Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience
Experience as a Chief Pilot or other leadership position
(1)In the case of a person becoming a Chief Pilot for the first time ever, have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
(2) In the case of a person with previous experience as a Chief Pilot, have at least 3 years experience as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
Ability to effectively manage teams and work collaboratively with other departments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and priorities
Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field preferred
