Roger Maclyn Stringer

I am a Commercial ASEL/AMEL pilot with Instrument Airplane privileges and hold CFI, CFII, MEI, and AGI certificates. I have approximately 2,700 hours of total flight time, including substantial multi-engine experience and more than 1,900 hours of dual instruction given. I have completed ATP-CTP training, passed the ATP knowledge examination, and am currently preparing for the ATP practical test. As a Colorado-based flight instructor operating regularly from Centennial and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airports, I have extensive experience flying in the demanding Front Range and Rocky Mountain environment. My work routinely involves high-density-altitude operations, rapidly changing weather, mountain wave, strong winds, icing considerations, and complex IFR operations. I currently provide both single-engine and multi-engine instruction and have trained more than 80 pilots during my instructional career. My background also includes service as a United States Air Force officer, where I held leadership and operational responsibilities in a highly disciplined environment. That experience, combined with my aviation background, has shaped the professional approach I bring to crew coordination, risk management, decision-making, and accountability. I am looking for a long-term position in professional aviation where I can continue to grow while contributing meaningful experience to the operation.
