Ensured safe and timely flight operations for Part 91 flight department flying the King Air 250/350/360 in accordance with all company policies and Federal Aviation regulations. Company Safety Manager, tasked with ensuring that aircraft were operated IAW company FOM and SMS, implemented tracking of the company flight risk assessment and hazard identification. Collaborated with software developer to centralize risk management and hazard reporting tools to one platform making hazard identification and risk management tracking more streamlined and easier to utilize. Spearheaded initiative to enroll company in the FAA SMS voluntary program. Ensured that three company aircraft were adequately stocked with required documents, publications and safety gear.

Conducted expert flight instruction, evaluation and mentoring to part 61 and 141 flight students to ensure they were adequately prepared to safely navigate the National Airspace System.

Conducted thorough investigations of marine accidents within U.S. waters to determine their cause and to initiate corrective actions to prevent future casualties. Investigated reports of negligence, misconduct and violations of regulations by U.S. and foreign licensed mariners. Lead investigator on a variety of high profile marine casualties including fires, collisions, equipment failures, diver casualties, pollution, injury and death cases.
