Serve as aircraft dispatcher for SDG&E/CAL FIRE helicopter operations, coordinating flight releases and mission readiness. Monitor weather, NOTAMs, and airspace conditions to support safe and efficient flight operations. Track aircraft status and movements, maintaining real-time situational awareness across active missions. Maintain continuous communication with flight crews, ground personnel, and operational partners. Lead an initiative to improve safety coordination between aircraft and ground crew operations, reducing incident risk and strengthening interdepartmental procedures.
