Work Experience
Owner and Chief Pilot
Ohio Flight Center
After moving to America, I first flew for a local Part 135 Operator where my intention was to buy that business. But this place was so run down and I couldn't work under such circumstances, that I started from scratch and formed my own aviaiton departement...the OHIO FLIGHT CENTER. I focus mainly on aircraft management and pilot services on King Air 90, CE-500 and CE-650. I also got my A&P License and plan on getting my IA in 2027. This makes me able to maintain the fleet I manage myself, togeher with my own mechanic in the team.
Pilot
Swiss International Air Lines
After my apprenticeship with Pilatus, I did some more schools and the mandatory military service in Switzerland, then I joined the airline. I flew 4 years on the A320 family including the A319, A320 and A321. Then I transitioned onto the A330 and A340 for two years before I changed again onto the flagship of Swiss International Air Lines, the Boeing 777-300ER for my last 6 years. When Covid hit and Swiss International Air Lines decided to make the vaccine mandatory, I said NO. That and my dream to move to America are the reason I don't fly and live anymore in Switzerland.
Mechanic
Pilatus Aircraft LTD
I completed my apprenticeship as a mechanic at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. I worked in all departments, from manufacturing, to sheet metal processing, assembly, and of course maintenance. I worked mostly on the PC-12 but also a lot on the PC-6. It was during this time when I started flying as well in the Pilatus Flying Club on a Piper Cub.
