Michael Siegel

Michael serves as the FAA-designated Director of Operations for a growing Part 135 charter operator, providing executive leadership for all flight operations while ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the company. He is responsible for maintaining full compliance with FAA, TSA, DOT, and company regulatory requirements while overseeing daily operational control, dispatch oversight, risk management, and emergency response procedures. Michael serves as the company's primary liaison with the FAA, successfully managing inspections, audits, certificate amendments, and regulatory correspondence. He leads FAA certification projects, including the addition of new aircraft types, expansion of operational capabilities, and revisions to Operations Specifications, company manuals, and operating procedures. He also develops and maintains the General Operations Manual (GOM), Training Manual, Minimum Equipment List (MEL) programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other operational policies to ensure regulatory compliance and operational consistency. Michael provides leadership for pilot recruitment, hiring, training, qualification, standardization, and ongoing performance management while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. He directs the implementation and continuous enhancement of the company's Safety Management System (SMS), promoting proactive risk management and a strong organizational safety culture. Michael administers the company's TSA security programs, including Twelve-Five Standard Security Program (TFSSP) compliance, security training, passenger vetting, and corporate security initiatives. He works closely with the Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, scheduling personnel, executive leadership, aircraft owners, charter clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies to maximize fleet utilization, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer service. Under Michael's leadership, the company successfully expands its Part 135 certificate through the addition of multiple aircraft types and new operational authorizations while obtaining numerous FAA approvals without interruption to operations. He builds scalable operational processes that support continued company growth, strengthen regulatory compliance, and maintain an uncompromising commitment to safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
