Later served as an Assistant Brigade Operations Officer, supporting Brigade and multi-echelon Division training priorities through mission analysis and operational planning.

Led multi-aircraft combat missions in Afghanistan alongside multinational Special Operations Forces during a 10-month deployment. Oversaw tactical air interdiction and reconnaissance operations while managing life support and mission readiness for over 40 personnel. Also served as a company-level trainer and Assistant Battalion Operations Officer, coordinating between Battalion and Brigade elements to implement complex training programs and ensure operational currency.
