SEAKR Engineering is a designer and manufacturer of spacecraft flight computers and data recorders. Designed circuit card assemblies and packaging and printed circuit board (PCB) form factors and layouts with electromagnetic / radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) mitigation for use in spaceflight applications. Mentored new team members in computer-aided design (CAD) use, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and cable design and routing best practices. Presented system designs in program design reviews, and used prototypes to describe complex features. Designed passive thermal control systems for components and systems using heat pipes, straps, and radiators. Designed flight cable harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620S and NASA-STD-8739.4 with EMI/RFI shielding. Used Solidworks and AutoCAD software to produce component and assembly models and drawings. Drafted component and assembly level manufacturing drawings using GD&T per ASME Y14.5. Performed design calculations including thermal resistance, tolerance stack-ups, and bolted joint analysis.

DePuy Synthes is a manufacturer of orthopedic trauma implants, as well as surgical instruments and biomaterials. Authored Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA). Performed process (OQ, IQ, PQ), and computer system validations for CNC and other manufacturing systems. Ensured quality system compliance while supporting manufacturing and process changes. Collaborated with R&D to establish inspection plans and determine critical to quality product features. Performed risk assessment analysis utilizing risk matrices and developed and implemented mitigation plans.

Designed and integrated deployable millimeter-wave optics assembly and rotation and alignment mechanisms. Designed and implemented testing procedures to characterize deployable optic assembly reliability & accuracy. Mentored Structures team members in both CAD design and machining techniques for space hardware.
