Jud Lane

Chief Pilot of a corporate flight department, managing a staff of eleven pilots and seven flight attendants operating four fixed wing jet aircraft and one multi-engine helicopter. Duties include operational control, training assurance and oversight, SMS promotion and facilitation, and crew scheduling. Serve as lead pilot on Challenger 300 for domestic and international Part 91 and 135 operations. Serve as Flight Operations Subcommittee chairman at Bombardier Challenger 300 and Challenger 350 Advisory Board, attending 2 advisory meetings per year in Montreal.

Supervised the operation of assigned aircraft and flightcrew, determining appropriate course of action to ensure safety of flight, passengers and company property, both in domestic and international operations. Served as company flight standards captain. Served as operational focal for Challenger fleet, providing input to director of aviation for fleet planning strategy, operational advisory wire monitoring, and liaison to director of maintenance for Challenger related issues while serving on the Challenger 300 customer advisory committee.

Served as ground school systems and procedures and simulator instructor. Trained initial and recurrent students in classroom and simulator environment including aircraft systems, system integration training and aircraft operations. Administered testing in accordance with FAA Part 135 and Part 61 Initial Type Certificate authority for the Challenger. Performed entry into service and customer support flight operations.
