Serve as primary technical liaison to FAA inspectors during certification, surveillance, and DCT activity; maintain the company's IS-BAO registration and ARGUS Platinum rating and support biannual third-party audits. Evaluate and approve maintenance vendors: conduct facility and capability audits, maintain the approved vendor list, and develop and administer vendor training to GMM requirements. Plan and oversee heavy maintenance events; review and analyze vendor quotes and work packages for labor-hour, scope, and airworthiness conformity; develop and manage the maintenance budget covering payroll, parts, repairs, and vendor contracts. As Chief Inspector (Nov 2022 – Feb 2024), held inspection and airworthiness-release authority for the maintenance program; oversaw required inspection functions and inspection personnel and ensured inspection procedures and records complied with the GMM and 14 CFR.
