Serve as FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 119 (Director of Maintenance) responsible for the continuing airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of all aircraft operated under the company's Air Operator Certificate for fleet of 4 EMB-135LR, 1 EMB-135BJ, and 2 Gulfstream GIV. Determine and certify the airworthiness of aircraft; ensure all maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations are accomplished and documented in accordance with Title 14 CFR and the company General Maintenance Manual (GMM). Administer the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS): collect and analyze maintenance and reliability data to detect deterioration or adverse trends in the airworthiness program, drive corrective action, and present analysis to FAA inspectors. Assure the maintenance organization is properly organized, staffed, equipped, and supported by a current training program; develop and deliver training to maintenance personnel on aircraft systems, regulatory requirements, and the GMM. Serve as primary technical liaison to FAA inspectors during certification, surveillance, and DCT activity; maintain the company's IS-BAO registration and ARGUS Platinum rating and support biannual third-party audits. Evaluate and approve maintenance vendors: conduct facility and capability audits, maintain the approved vendor list, and develop and administer vendor training to GMM requirements. Plan and oversee heavy maintenance events; review and analyze vendor quotes and work packages for labor-hour, scope, and airworthiness conformity; develop and manage the maintenance budget covering payroll, parts, repairs, and vendor contracts. As Chief Inspector (Nov 2022 – Feb 2024), held inspection and airworthiness-release authority for the maintenance program; oversaw required inspection functions and inspection personnel and ensured inspection procedures and records complied with the GMM and 14 CFR.

Managed the Heavy Maintenance Representative team providing on-site oversight of heavy maintenance performed on company air carrier aircraft at outside repair facilities. Ensured maintenance was accomplished in conformity with approved technical data, manufacturer instructions, airworthiness directives, and company procedures prior to aircraft return to service. Reviewed work packages, non-routine findings, invoices, and completed paperwork for regulatory and procedural conformity; provided engineering assistance and troubleshooting guidance to vendors. Scheduled representative coverage, coordinated parts support and cost handling with the materials department, and aligned aircraft delivery timing with management to meet operational requirements.

Provided on-site representation and oversight of heavy maintenance performed on Part 121 air carrier aircraft (CRJ series, more than 12,500 lbs MTOW) at contract repair facilities. Verified that maintenance complied with company manuals, approved technical data, airworthiness directives, and applicable 14 CFR requirements. Reviewed and validated non-routine requests and findings; monitored manpower, productivity, and workmanship to uphold company quality and airworthiness standards. Supported invoice review and accountability and coordinated parts flow to and from outside vendors with the materials department.

Provided on-site maintenance oversight and vendor coordination for air carrier aircraft undergoing heavy maintenance, ensuring conformity with technical data, airworthiness directives, and company procedures.

Performed hands-on maintenance, repair, and inspection of airframes, powerplants, and aircraft systems as an A&P technician within an FAA-certificated repair station. Exercised Required Inspection Item (RII) authority, with responsibility for inspecting and certifying the airworthiness of completed work. Managed aircraft maintenance and modification projects end to end - coordinating scope, schedule, labor, parts, and airworthiness documentation to ensure conformity with technical data and regulatory requirements.

Supported Part 121 air carrier line maintenance through parts sourcing, inventory control, and materials handling.

Provided ground handling and line service in a fixed-base operator (FBO) environment – aircraft towing/marshalling, fueling, and GPU operation - in accordance with NATA Safety 1st standards.
