Personal Interests
Originally from France, I hold dual French-American citizenship. Prior to entering aviation, I spent seven years as a physical education teacher and coach after earning a master’s degree in education. This early experience established a strong foundation in leadership, communication, and mentoring—qualities that have remained central to my professional approach. I transitioned into aviation over 30 years ago, completing my FAA training in Florida and beginning my career as a flight instructor. I later moved to Alaska, where I continued instructing before progressing to bush flying and subsequently operating the Beech 1900 to the North Slope. This experience provided valuable exposure to demanding operational environments and fostered strong decision-making skills, particularly in complex and dynamic weather conditions. I then spent 14 years in corporate aviation with NetJets, flying business jets and developing a deep commitment to safety, professionalism, and client service. Following a temporary medical interruption, I gained additional experience in Part 121 airline operations before transitioning into simulator instruction. I initially instructed on the Falcon 900 and currently serve as an instructor and examiner on the Gulfstream G650, combining operational experience with a strong focus on training, standardization, and mentoring. I am now seeking to bring this combined operational and training experience to a captain role within a high-standard corporate aviation environment.
