Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the aircraft, its crew, and the manipulation of the flight controls, including taxiing, take-off and landing, preflight planning, preflight and post flight inspections, enroute navigation, passenger handling, ATC communication and CRM. Complies with all Operations Manuals, Operations Specifications, CFRs and air-traffic rules. Reviews all weather, air traffic advisories, airport data, navigational facilities and aircraft mechanical conditions meet the requirements for safe flight. Computation of weight and balance for each flight and ensures an on-time departure.

Assisting the PIC with the manipulation of the flight controls of an aircraft underway including: taxiing, take-off and landing, enroute navigation, passenger handling, ATC communication and other duties assigned by the PIC to ensure a safe operation with efficient CRM.

Ensuring passenger safety and comfort while complying with regulations and providing legendary customer service while serving the passengers. Provides leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies, including aircraft evacuation, administering first aid to ill or incapacitated customers, and unusual incidents. Operates mechanical equipment and safety equipment to include: stairs, oxygen systems, aircraft doors (pushing and pulling), evacuation slides, fire extinguishers, life rafts, galley equipment, communications equipment, and lighting systems.

Loading and unloading of baggage and cargo. Safe handling and movement of aircraft on the ground including marshaling, pushback, and servicing lavatories and potable water. Operating ground equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols to ensure effective communication with pilots and ground crew to ensure a safe and efficient turnaround.
