Provide education and implementation guidance on CRM with an emphasis on automation utilization, mishap avoidance, decision making, threat and error management, and communication skills.

Supervise, plan, brief, lead, and debrief a day or night section (two aircraft) flight in all scenarios, tactical or administrative, in all MV-22B assigned tasks to ensure mission accomplishment and survivability.

Instruct tiltrotor student pilots using adult learning techniques and tactical risk mitigation. Train pilots in flight planning, aircraft familiarization, aerial delivery, formation flight, carrier operations, high, hot and heavy operations, mountainous terrain operations, and confined area landings in accordance with MV-22B standardized parameters.

Conduct post-maintenance functional checks to ensure airframe, power plant, and equipment meet operational standards.

Responsible for management of mission planning, passenger and cargo accountability, mission execution, and crew safety, ensuring compliance with all orders and standard operating procedures.

Assist the Tiltrotor Aircraft Commander with all assigned mission planning and tasking to facilitate mission accomplishment. Be prepared to assume command of the assigned aircraft and crew in the event that the Tiltrotor Aircraft Commander is unable to continue the mission.
