Personal Interests
My qualifications consists of a degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from the University of California Irvine, Private-Instrument-Commercial-Multi with 100% pass rate, and I am the A&P on my RV-6 where my brother and I rebuilt the instrument panel from scratch to make a full TAA IFR cockpit so my knowledge of systems goes deeper than most. I grew up in the Truckee Tahoe area skiing and mountain biking as much as possible before university, then during the Christmas break of my senior year, a friend from Truckee airport showed me what it was like to fly. After that my focus switched from engineering to purely flying. I graduated with high honors as a student athlete in June of 2024 and I started flying August 6th of 2024. In the last 18 months I've acquired 1000+ hours TT, over 500 XC, hundreds of simulated IFR with over 15 hours of actual flying in the soup, and all of that with a super fun-to-fly aerobatic taildragger so my stick and rudder skills are superb.
