Personal Interests
I grew up in South East Wyoming. Family vacations while I was growing up usually centered around going to an airshow, or we would go to any aviation museum along the way. My own aviation career started with flying R/C aircraft with my dad. However it took until my mid 30's and a few career changes later that I was able to earn my first pilot certificate. I was offered appointments to both West Point and the US Naval Academy. Operated my own gunsmithing business for approximately 10 years, worked as an EMT and Firefighter during that same time. I have worked in numerous industries throughout my career, bringing knowledge and experience from each of them along the way. I have served on the board of directors for the Single Action Shooting Society World Championship match since 2019. When not at work I can be found on some piece of water between Alaska and Mexico flyfishing for whatever happens to be available.
