Ensuring compliance and above average knowledge of regulations and procedures. Part 121 regional operation with exposure to charter operations within the Southern Africa region from Cape-Town to Tanzania and Angola across 45 destinations. Responsibilities in addition to SIC: Concise communication with all departments and crew. Optimization and utilization of CRM in order to maintain the highest possible level of safety. Time-management and task prioritization. Oversight of all support services and personnel.

Assisting the Pilot in Command wherever required. Maintaining a safe environment at all times with respect to the aircraft, operations, performance and Crew Resource Management. Pre-flight planning, internal and external safety and security inspections, load calculations and oversight including Dangerous Goods. Consistent on-time performance and fuel saving as well as passenger comfort and satisfaction.

Oversight and management of allocated flights including: Coordinating all ground support services (Ramp control, loading staff, catering, cleaning, cargo, fuel, maintenance staff, passenger handling agents). Flight crew briefing, in flight support, ATC liaison and IROPS coordination. Record keeping and administrative document generation. Systems Utilized AMADEUS CM & FM. Geneva, AvNet, Zeus, CAMU, File2Fly a Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
