Personal Interests
Chris Muldoon served 20 years as an officer and pilot in the United States Navy. During his Navy career, Chris first flew the C-2A Greyhound Carrier Onboard Delivery (COD), providing logistics support to the fleet, including transporting high-level dignitaries and VIPs to and from aircraft carriers. He then returned to serve as an Instructor Pilot, teaching and evaluating replacement pilots in conducting combat operations in the C-2A at sea. Upon completing his sea tours, in 2008, Chris transferred to the Executive Transport side of the Navy, where he began flying Gulfstream III’s out of Sigonella, Sicily. There he provided executive transportation to Commander, Allied Joint Forces Command Naples. Chris’ next tour was out of Washington, D.C., where he was assigned to be the Navy and Marine Corps Lead Check Airman and Program Evaluator in the Gulfstream 550 aircraft. His squadron provided worldwide executive transport to the Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations, Commandant of the Marine Corps, Congressional Delegations, and various high-ranking cabinet members. Here, Chris was responsible as the aircraft commander on two high-visibility around-the-world flights supporting the Secretary of the Navy. Chris’ final tour was in Pearl Harbor, HI's (not so arduous) duty station. He completed his last five years operating in the Pacific theater providing executive transportation in support of the Commander, United States Pacific Fleet in a Gulfstream V. For a kid who had never traveled much from the US East Coast before the Navy, Chris got to see the world, and he is extremely thankful and humbled by the experience. He has flown to 78 different countries, supported four combat operations, several disaster relief operations, and lived on two volcanic islands completely immersed in two different cultures (on opposite sides of the world). Chris currently trains in Jiu-Jitsu and will hopefully attain his brown belt soon! He is an avid motorcyclist and enjoys restoring classic motorcycles and automobiles. Chris attended Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He later completed a Master’s in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Chris and his wife Rachel have been married for 17 years and have one child. Their daughter Madelyn is 13 years old (as of 2026). Rachel is from Virginia Beach and is a homemaker and hairstylist.
