Originally employed as a PIC-type rated first officer on the Challenger 605/650 fleet. Not long after, Jet Edge was acquired during the summer of 2022 by Vista America. About one year later, Vista America sold the CL60 fleet where I was transferred to the Challenger 300/350 fleet as a PIC-type rated first officer operating under 14 CFR Part 135. Duties and expectations set forth in company; General Operating Manual (GOM), Operations Specifications (Op Specs), Flight Standards Manual (FSM), Type-Specific Manuals (TSM), General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Manual, and numerous aircraft manufacturers manuals. Regular two-week rotations require strong mindset, precise luggage/laundry planning, and the ability/necessity to get along with coworkers for full 15-day rotations. Mostly domestic destinations which include difficult mountainous and high-altitude airports such as KASE, KEGE, KTVL, and KSUN. International destinations include Bahamas, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe and Middle East having one North Atlantic Tracks (NAT) crossing. Required knowledge of PDC, CPDLC, DATALINK, D-ATIS and updating FMS-NAV database. Dual type-rated in Challenger 300/350 as well as Challenger 605/650 to meet company flight crew needs. Chief Pilot: Chris Van Schalkwyk, (954) 595-7521.
