Hired in 1992 at American Airlines and trained as a Flight Engineer on the B-727. Flew as F.E. until upgrade to First Officer in 1996, flying the Fokker 100 until late 1998. Was then awarded Boeing 767 FO and flew it for over 14 years, with a 9-month stint on the MD-80 in 2005. First Captain upgrade came in 2013 on the A320. I have accumulated over 8400hrs of domestic and international flying on the A320.

Graduated undergraduate Pilot Training and was awarded a C-130 to Yokota AB, Japan. While stationed at Yokota, participated in numerous complex airdrop exercises in Korea, Japan, and the Philippines. Follow-on assignment was to Columbus AFB as a T-38 Instructor Pilot. Graduated Pilot Instructor Training as the Top Graduate of my class in 1989. Went on to instruct students in the high-performance T-38 until September 1991.

I am a husband, father and grandfather. My family is most important to me as well as my faith in Jesus Christ. I am an active, hard working, easy going man, who wants to enjoy life and stay involved. I have been living my dream of flying professionally for over 41 years on complex, high performance aircraft in demanding environments. I am still in great shape and want to continue flying and using the vast experience and training that I have received.
