Personal Interests
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 19 years old and served for 8 years form 2005 to 2013. During that time I did 2 deployments to Iraq. I ran the state of Alaska for the Marine recruiting effort after my initial enlistment. I got out of the Marines and ran a real estate brokerage for several years where I picked up flying. I met my wife in the real estate industry and we have two kids. In 2023, I decided to start flying full time since it has never seemed like work. I got my ratings, instructed for a bit, and now work for Grant Aviation in Anchorage, Alaska.
