Personal Interests
In April 2025, I committed to pursuing a professional pilot career. I earned my Instrument Rating in July 2025, my Commercial Single-Engine Certificate in December 2025, and my Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate in February 2026. I currently hold a First Class Medical and have accumulated 1,840 total flight hours, including 1,764 PIC hours, 79 multi-engine hours, and 470 hours flown in the past 12 months. My passion for aviation began early, from designing and building radio-controlled model aircraft to soloing a Cessna 150 at age 16 and earning my private pilot certificate at 17. In 2015, I began building a Sonex aircraft and ultimately served as the test pilot for its first flight in 2018. Since then, I have logged over 1,325 hours in the aircraft while continuously refining its performance, avionics, and reliability. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for disciplined procedures, risk management, aircraft systems knowledge, and operational decision-making. In addition to my aviation experience, my role as a Senior Software Quality Engineer at Boston Scientific has reinforced a disciplined, detail-oriented mindset. My work requires rigorous validation, precise documentation, and troubleshooting of complex systems- skills directly applicable to safe, efficient, and standardized flight operations. I am accustomed to operating in high-stakes, regulated environments where consistency, accuracy, and accountability are critical.
