Provide contract and supplemental pilot services supporting Part 91/135 corporate flight operations. Conduct domestic and international flight assignments with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, regulatory compliance, and exceptional owner/client service. Support select fixed-wing and rotorcraft assignments, leveraging extensive Gulfstream, Challenger, Citation, helicopter, and aviation leadership experience.

Served as Chief Pilot for a complex public-safety aviation operation, responsible for flight operations, pilot staffing, hiring, scheduling, training/checking, SOP and manual development, safety programs, and regulatory compliance. Led both flight and maintenance functions, with the Maintenance Director as a direct report, and worked directly with the Fire Chief as a principal aviation resource on capabilities, safety, aircraft requirements, and program development. Oversaw pilot standardization and evaluations, vendor relationships, aircraft acquisition/modification initiatives, and operational risk management.

Conducted all-risk missions including aerial firefighting, search and rescue, public assistance, and multi-agency emergency response in complex, time-critical operating environments.

Helped manage an integrated fixed-wing and helicopter flight department supporting executive transportation, utility patrol, project, and specialized aviation missions. Shared responsibility for pilot supervision, scheduling, hiring, training/checking, manuals and SOPs, safety programs, fleet oversight, budgeting, and day-to-day flight department management. Selected as a company aviation auditor for contracted aircraft vendors, evaluating operational practices, safety programs, regulatory compliance, and suitability for SCE missions. Represented Southern California Edison for four years on the Helicopter Association International Board of Directors, including service as Treasurer, contributing to industry safety, standards, and governance. Conducted fixed-wing and helicopter operations in demanding mountain, weather, and IMC environments requiring disciplined planning, CRM, and risk management.

Operated MD 500-series helicopters in Part 91, 133, 135, and 136 missions, including human external cargo, long-line operations, aerial firefighting, search and rescue, and over-water response. Conducted high-altitude, mountain, and large-surf rescue operations near the aircraft performance envelope, requiring precise aircraft control, disciplined risk assessment, and firm operational judgment. Accumulated thousands of hours of long-line and precision external-load experience while supporting public-safety, film, and surf-industry missions, including high-profile and high-net-worth clients where discretion was essential.

Served as Check Airman and company pilot for FAA-observed validation and recertification flights of proprietary low-IFR routes and hospital GPS approaches, with FAA personnel observing and measuring route and approach performance. Conducted single-pilot IFR/NVG air-medical operations and served as a relief pilot across REACH bases throughout the western U.S., operating the Agusta A109 and Bell 407.

Served as Check Airman and all-bases relief pilot in high-volume Part 135/136 operations; OAS-carded in the AS350 and EC130 and experienced in Part 133 external-load work. Supported private charter, motion-picture and television production flying, and high-net-worth clientele, including specialty missions for major productions such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Tropic Thunder.
