As a pilot you are responsible for the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned. You will report directly to the Vice President of Aviation. When assigned to a flight, you have the final authority in the operation of the aircraft. You are responsible for the safe, efficient transport of HCA personnel on board HCA company aircraft.
Job Responsibilities:
Acting as pilot in command (PIC) of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled and directs the activities of other flight crew members
Adheres to the FAA regulations, Company Flight Operations Manual, and SOPs, and is an active participant in the department’s Safety Management System
Providing excellent customer service to passengers.
Complying with schedules, and other directives governing the aircraft's operation.
Prepares or supervises preparation of all flight related activities including flight planning, weather planning, airport facilities, and performance planning.
Makes decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate.
Ensuring that preflight inspections are carried out.
Ensuring that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers.
Job Requirements:
Technical training is required
5+ years of experience in professional experience as a Pilot is required
Multi-engine, Commercial and Instrument ratings required. Airline Transport Rating recommended.
Airline Transport Pilot Rating (ATP) is required
3000 Hours Total Flight time is required
1000 Hours Multi-engine Turbine is required
1000 Hours as Pilot in Charge (PIC) is preferred
Valid Federal Communications Commission (FCC) License is required
