Description Tradewind Aviation is a growing Part 135 Commuter & On-Demand Operator with bases in Waterbury/Oxford, CT (OXC), Westchester, NY (HPN) and San Juan, PR (SJU) offering premium scheduled service throughout the Northeast and Caribbean. PC-12 Check Airman and Simulator Instructor at DFW airport: · Conduct Initial/Recurrent/Upgrade Training and Checking in the Pilatus PC-12 simulator · Generate and maintain the schedule of sessions in the Dallas simulators throughout the year · Assist the Director of Training in researching, evaluating, and implementing new or revised training systems, policies, and procedures Requirements Tradewind Aviation, LLC., requires all employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Minimum Qualifications: · FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane Single-Engine Land (ASEL) with instrument rating. · Must be able to relocate to within 90 minutes of the FlightSafety Dallas – North facility · Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 135.337 and 135.338 for simulator qualification · Excellent presentation ability. · Four year college degree or equivalent experience. · Knowledge of and the ability to teach aircraft systems, operating procedures and policies · Excellent interpersonal skills, team oriented and self-directed. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. · Ability to learn new software and systems efficiently. · Some travel required as needed at other training locations. · Ability to work flexible work hours. Preferred Qualifications: · Previous Part 135 experience. · Pilatus PC-12 experience.
