Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for experienced Second in Command to support our LR-JET series aircraft in partnership with the U.S. Navy. This role supports scheduled missions with a dynamic work–life balance and flexible scheduling options. Candidates must be able to participate in all required pre‑flight briefings and post‑flight debriefings.
Location: San Diego, CA (U.S. Navy Partnership)
Primary Headquarters: Newport News, VA
Travel: Occasional OCONUS deployments (30–60 days) – Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Australia, NATO locations
Preferred Experience
(Not required — training provided where applicable)
Air Carrier experience
Ability to work in and foster a team environment.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of aircraft systems and limitations of all aircraft flown.
Reside or relocate within 30 minutes of NZY Airport.
Able to work various shifts and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Prior military aviation experience (tactical aircraft strongly preferred)

You Must Have
U.S. Citizenship (mandatory for work at this U.S. Government location)
Valid U.S. Passport
Secret Security Clearance (active preferred; ability to obtain after hire required
Minimum of 1,000 Hours of total pilot time in fixed wing aircraft
Learjet or similar aircraft experience
Ability to attend all mission briefings and debriefings
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
Must be able to lift/move up to 75 lbs on occasion
Must maintain an FAA Flight Physical
Strong knowledge of:
Flight Operations and Ground Procedures
FAA Regulations
Operations Specifications
Assigned aircraft flight manuals
