The Supervisor of Inflight Administration directly reports to the Assistant Director of Inflight Training and Standards and is responsible for managing essential administrative support functions supporting the operations and training teams.
Responsible for managing system parking administration for all crew members and update of applicable systems to track parking assignments and costs, as well as reporting of such activity.
Will act as the primary badging contact for the department, to include coordination with individual crew bases for PSA IDs, individual station Secure Identification Display Area (SIDA) badges and tracking and processes associated with new badge issuance or loss/replacement of badges.
In coordination with the Crew Support Desk Specialist team, reviews customer compliments and complaints and proposes ideas for improvement.
In coordination with the Crew Support Desk Specialist team, support with processing of DOT and FAA complaints or investigation requests.
Coordinate with the Leave of Absence team on leave requests and tracking of crew members on various leave types.
Coordinate system-wide events and initiatives, to include promotions by the American Airlines Credit Union, Barclay’s Bank, and other support organizations.
Act as the primary contact for interdepartmental administrative processes and coordination.
Create L Drive folders for new crew members as they are brought onboard, along with other necessary onboarding functions.
Responsible for managing AFA grievance tracking and reporting.
Primary contact for interdepartmental administrative coordination.
Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous leadership experience.
Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
Above average oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
Experience with telephone conferencing and email communication.
Ability to speak/read/write in English.
If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
Previous aviation experience.
Previous experience in a supervisory role and/or managing in a union environment.

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Assistant Director of Inflight Training and Standards.
