About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead the charge in scaling their prestigious private aviation platform. With over thirty years of industry excellence, our client is committed to delivering unparalleled convenience, quality, and safety to their discerning clientele. As COO, you’ll take the helm of a 40+ aircraft fleet, operating under Part 135 and Part 91, and drive operational excellence and growth across Jet Card, Fractional Ownership, and Aircraft Management programs. This role offers a unique chance to make impactful improvements that ensure safety, elevate the client experience, and enhance the company’s market strength.
Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize day-to-day operational execution across flight operations, maintenance coordination, and scheduling.
Ensure safe, compliant operations under Part 135 and Part 91, fostering a robust safety culture.
Drive efficiency in aircraft utilization, routing, and maintenance management to enhance operational reliability.
Manage operational performance metrics and support budget management, focusing on cost efficiency and service quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and client experience teams to align operational decisions with strategic goals.
Build and refine systems and workflows that support sustainable growth in jet card, fractional ownership, and aircraft management.
Mentor and develop department leaders, cultivating a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
10+ years of leadership experience in aviation operations.
Proven expertise in Part 135 operations; Part 91 exposure is a plus.
Experience leading multi-aircraft operations, with a preference for managing 20+ aircraft.
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and operational management.
Experience in managing budgets and P&L-related decisions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Experience with jet card and aircraft management programs is beneficial.
Familiarity with ARGUS, Wyvern, and safety management systems is a plus.
Proven ability to use KPIs and accountability tools to drive performance.
Strong cross-functional leadership experience.
