Since 1998, we’ve been providing air charter services to destinations throughout WA and beyond. We’ve grown in this time, and in 2011 became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group providing high capacity jet airline services to every Qantas destination throughout our great State. Your new role will see you ensuring all aspects of crew training and checking is conducted safely, efficiently and in compliance with the company operations manual and documentation. You will also ensure sufficient personnel are provided to complete required training and checking of operating crew members and ensure the maintenance of standards. In addition, on behalf of the Head of Training and Checking, you will oversee the activities of the Airbus fleet training and checking system. You’ll have - The ability to develop, deliver and maintain training programs for the issuance and maintenance of Examiner & Instructor Licencing qualifications and re-current training programs Previous experience managing CASR Part 61 and 142 (or similar) administrative tasks and documentation as well as other pilot training related documentation. Current as an A320 Captain, ideally within a management capacity Previous check and training experience on the A320 Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of leading successful high performing teams Broad understanding of the Network operations with the ability to work with management at all levels within the Group Demonstrated understanding of CAOs, CASRs and other regulatory requirements Demonstrated ability to manage complex analytical projects; Proven ability to perform under difficult and stressful conditions Proven ability to build relationships and communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation The ability to maintain strict confidentiality in the face of highly sensitive information with potentially high level impacts across both people and revenue At [redacted], we get to do what we love while enjoying life the western Australian way.
