Description
Currently seeking Gulfstream 450 / Falcon 900 Captain or Co-Captain for Part 91 operations based in Reno, NV. Position offers excellent quality of life / 150-200 flight time per year. Position can expect light international - Mexico, occasional Europe trips.
Must be ATP type rated in G450 or DA50/900 (Will provide training for aircraft not type rated on).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Act as Pilot-in-Command / or Co-Captain in G450 and DA900 aircraft on assigned domestic and international trips.
Directly responsible for the safety, comfort and convenience of flight crew and passengers.
Supervise assigned flight crew when assigned as Pilot-in-Command.
Ensure that all flight and ground operations comply with federal and state regulations, as well as our Company\'s standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with the crew in analyzing weather conditions and make decisions to ensure the safe operation of Company aircraft.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Operations staff in making decisions that affect the operation of Company aircraft.
Effectively utilize the principles of Crew Resource Management.
Make decisions necessary for the start, delay, or cancellation of assigned flights and for the deviation of a flight from its planned route or destination when conditions dictate.
Requirements:
Must be ATP type rated in G450 or DA50/900 (Will provide training for aircraft not type rated on).
Bachelor Degree preferred.
Part 91 experience in a VIP / Corporate setting.
History of successful completion of FAA and Company competency checks.
FAA First Class medical.
Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must be willing to reside within 1 hour of Reno, NV airport.
Demonstrated knowledge of domestic, international, and oceanic flight rules.
