As a Corporate pilot the individual will be responsible for keeping the private airplane in top condition. They regularly check systems and perform pre-flight inspections to ensure everything runs smoothly. This involves checking the engine, controls, and all safety equipment before every flight. Prepare and submit flight plans that consider weather, fuel and flight length to air traffic control. File flights plans and itineraries with airports. Communicate with air traffic control over the aircraft's radio system. Operate and control aircraft along planned routes and during takeoffs and landings. Monitor engines, fuel consumption, and other aircraft systems during flight. Ability to lead safety audits and routine maintenance. They work closely with maintenance teams to address any mechanical issues or regular upkeep needs swiftly. Operating the aircraft demands a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to required flight plans and schedule changes.
The job calls for excellent communication skills and attention to detail as pilots coordinate with ground services and manage swift changes in plans efficiently, ensuring every journey is smooth from takeoff to landing.
Individual must have 5-10 years of experience as a Commercial Pilot. Possess up to date Commercial Pilot License with Airplane Category and Instrument rating. Current Class 2 Medical Certification.
