PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As an Aviation Operations Coordinator, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Maintenance to ensure the most appropriate aircraft is assigned
Work with the Aviation Operations Supervisor to ensure that support provided by the Operations department is maintained
Perform duties as Flight Operations Coordinator
Receive, process and execute aircraft requests from casino hosts and executive assistants
Schedule travel for customers and executives on company aircraft, or conside other lift options if company aircraft is not available and arrange travel, hotel and ground transportation for crew and company executives when needed
Communicate passenger special requests and needs to flight crews
Ensure scheduling software database is updated following a flight including passenger and crew names
Ensure all required permits are arranged for International flights including landing and overflight permits
Schedule, maintain, and update flight-crew to ensure compliance with company and FAA regulations regarding currency, flight and duty times
Perform other job-related duties as requested
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of experience in a job that requires accurate decision making under pressure
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
PREFERRED:
FAA Dispatch Certificate
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience with coordination and communication for demanding professionals
VVIP aviation dispatch or customer service experience
Experience in a fast paced FAR Part 135, 91, or 121 environment
