Immediate opening for Astra SIC based in Northern VA. Anticipated salary is 100k with a preference for time in type.
Job Description: The schedule varies and is unpredictable from year to year. In 2018, the airplane only flew 130 hours; however, in years past, the aircraft has flown close to 250. This job requires flexibility and will require the pilot to live in the vicinity of Washington DC. Historically, most trips have revolved around a Thursday- Sunday schedule with crew remaining with the airplane. These are all part 91 owner flights with the schedule typically known several days in advance.
Job Requirements:
-Commercial with multi-engine land
-Bachelor\\\'s degree (preferred)
-Previous jet experience
-Unrestricted First Class Medical
-Customer service oriented
-Valid passport
-FCC radio license
-Ability to travel unrestricted
-Must reside within 1 hour of Mansassas, VA
SIC Flight Time Requirements:
-2,000 total time
-1,000 PIC
-500 multi-engine
-300 multi-engine PIC
-200 instrument
-preference to time in type and/or previous cfi experience favored.
