Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT SUMMARY: Professional pilot internship in which intern will aid and observe the daily operation of a FAR part 91 flight department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To keep a daily log of job task, experience gained, and work related items. Atechnical development project that will be presented to the aviation department. Assist flight crews (Intern will be an active crewmember assisting on the jumpseat). Assist maintenance crew. Assist dispatcher and scheduler . Assist safetyand security officers. Assist training officer. Observe management . Attend Company internship orientation. Option to visit a Tyson plant. Option to attend company enrichment courses. MedAire or AircareFacts crew emergency training. Flightsafety international flight simulation training. Possibly visit an altitude chamber in OKC. Learn about the International Standards for Business Aviation Operators (IS-BAO). Learn the Falcon 2000 EASy/Falcon 7X systems and operating techniques. INTERACTIONS: The intern will work alongside everyone in the aviation department. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass a ten (10) year background check and five (5) year and pre-employment drug screen. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986. Must hold a Private pilot certificate and instrument rating. EDUCATION: Attending Henderson State University in an Aviation Program. Must have at least a 2.00 GPA or higher. EXPERIENCE: Multi-engine commercial preferred but not required. Basic Computer Skills. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Frequent travel required. Time will be spent between the office and aircraft. Potential for one trip outside the United States if you have your passport. Dress code is business casual while working at XNA. On trips, men must wear a tie and women must wear a blouse with collar.
