Under the direction and leadership of the Chief Pilot, we are seeking a Flight Crew Member to join our Aviation department in Calgary, AB. The Pilots are responsible for flying [Company] owned aircraft, transporting directors, officers and employees on flights to various locations within North America and International. The incumbent will act as a Flight Crew Member of all assigned flights.
What Else You Get To Do:
Perform duties of Flight Crew to ensure the safety and comfort of guests
Ensures all flights are carried out as per Operations Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) & applicable regulations
Participates in the execution of flight deck, emergency, checklist, and instrument approach procedures as directed by the Chief Pilot, and in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Aircraft Flight Manual and company approved procedures
Carries out pre-and post-flight checks
Continually monitors flight conditions and maintains situational awareness.
Maintains all records as required
Flight planning with consideration to aircraft, fuel, weight and balance, airport and obstacle limitations
Adheres to Transport Canada, Company and all applicable International Flight Regulations
Who You Are:
Education and Experience
High School Diploma
Transport Canada Commercial Pilot’s License with ATP exams written (Aeroplane)
Valid Transport Canada Class 1 instrument rating
Valid Transport Canada Class 1 medical
Technical Knowledge
Jet experience is an asset
Experience flying a PC-24 is considered an asset
2-5 years of pilot experience
1,500 hours’ total flying time
500 hours fixed wing Pilot-In-Command experience
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and valid Canadian Passport
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
High degree of motivation and commitment to work with a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Final candidates will be required to undergo a Security Clearance Check.
This position has been identified as risk/safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test.
