Charter Sales Manager
We are a high utilization Part 135 operator based in South Florida. We operate a fleet of light mid and large cabin aircraft. Aircraft are company owned.
The Charter Sales Manager position will be responsible for all aspects of managing a team of sales associates as well as selling either point to point or roundtrip wholesale and retail charter flights. Candidates must have a proven sales track record and previous experience motivating and building a sales team. Candidates must be able to work and thrive in a fast paced often stressful environment. Nights and weekends may be required. This position would report directly to the VP and Pres. Of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
• Meeting and exceeding sales goals both individually and departmentally
• Sell point to point or roundtrip charters
• Client/Trip Management
• Source aircraft for brokered and recovery flights
• Meet monthly sales targets
• Conduct and attend weekly sales meetings with management and team
• Continue to develop best practices and new SOP’s to ensure efficient and effective sales efforts
• Covering sales shifts when team members are unable to perform tasks to ensure sales coverage
• Management of all team members
• Continuing education and training for all team members
Skills and Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience with Jet Insight or FOS preferred
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent computer proficiency
• Familiar with other Part 135 operators/equipment
• Ability to sell and close deals
• Ability to handle customer issues in a calm and professional manner
• Problem solving
Education and Work Experience
• Min. 5-10 years previous Management experience
• College degree preferred, but not required
• Must have knowledge of 14 CFR 135 &91
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to work under pressure.
