As a growing Part 91 aircraft management company headquartered in the Washington DC area, [Company] operates a diverse fleet of corporate aircraft from our state-of-the-art hangar facility and from locations across the US.
This position is non-commutable and the hired applicants must reside within a two hour drive to Nashville, TN prior to beginning work. Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates. We are hiring one Co-Captain for this Part 91 only account.
CO-CAPTAIN PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Challenger 300 experience with BD-100/CL30 type rating, FAA ATP AMEL Certificate with 1,000+ PIC hours in type, 4,000+ hours total flight time (not FFS/ATD), and 1,500 hours multi turbine PIC
International experience with no international travel restrictions
Part 135, Park 91K, or VIP/corporate flight department jet experience as a Captain/PIC
Attention to detail, the ability to think "outside of the box", and a team success mentality
A clean airman record with no accidents or violations
FAA CFI, CFII, and MEI
Comprehensive and demonstratable knowledge on IFR procedures, the national airspace system, turbine/jet operations, aviation weather, international operations, interpersonal communications, and crew resource management.
Experience with CPDLC, FANS, ACARS, HF, oceanic track operations, operations in Europe, the Caribbean/Bahamas, South America, and the Pacific, as well as eAPIS, Customs regulations, and related topics known to seasoned corporate aircraft pilots.
Minimum qualifications below
LEAD CAPTAIN MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Challenger 300 experience with BD-100/CL30 type rating, FAA ATP Certificate, 3,000+ hours total flight time (not FFS/ATD), 1,500 hours multi turbine PIC, 300 hours in type
Part 135, Park 91K, or VIP/corporate flight department jet experience as a Captain or First Officer
A clean driving record with the ability to pass a background check
Valid US Passport
FAA Radiotelephone Operators License
Valid FAA Class 1 or Class 2 medical
Comprehensive and demonstratable knowledge on IFR procedures, the national airspace system, turbine/jet operations, aviation weather, international operations, interpersonal communications, and crew resource management.
Experience with CPDLC, FANS, ACARS, HF, oceanic track operations, operations in Europe, the Caribbean/Bahamas, South America, and the Pacific, as well as eAPIS, Customs regulations, and related topics known to seasoned corporate aircraft pilots.
Ability to lift large items that are sometimes up to 75lbs while working in hot, cold, or wet weather conditions.
