Looking for CFIs for a project of starting a flight school.
This is not a position for time-builders! No time-builders, please!
You must be passionate about flying small training aircraft and teaching how to fly.
You must be knowledgeable of the FAA regulations and willing to spend significant time reading more regulations and creating required documents/manuals/procedures. Must be attentive to details, diligent, with a structured and systemic thinking, be a goal-oriented / results-oriented individual, be able to deliver on time, without compromising quality or integrity.
This role would be ideal for a “life long career-CFI”, or for a retired airline/corporate pilot who wants to continue to do active flight instruction.
The project will be in the area of Reno, NV.
Candidates are considered nationwide. Relocation assistance could be discussed on the individual basis depending on your level of commitment.
If you are not a US-citizen, but want to work as a CFI in the USA long-term, this could be your opportunity for an E2 non-immigrant visa.
No time-builders! Only career-CFIs, or pilots who will devote significant part of their flying to General Aviation and enjoy flight-instructing would fit this role.
If a candidate is a young pilot, an opportunity to fly a business jet will exist in a partner company for the best candidates, but it should not be a driving factor for you. Building a successful flight school should be the main goal for this role.
