Our team prides itself on professionalism, discretion, and operational excellence. We manage a Gulfstream GVIIG500, flying approximately 350–400 hours annually, operating globally.
We are seeking a highly experienced, team oriented Senior Captain to join our flight department.
Position Overview
The Senior Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of aircraft managed by [Company]. This individual must demonstrate exceptional judgment, strong CRM skills, leadership ability, and unwavering commitment to the safety and comfort of our passengers.
The Senior Captain must embrace the flexible, dynamic nature of a small, high performance Part 91 flight department and work seamlessly within a tight knit team of pilots, maintenance personnel, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Flight Operations
Serve as Pilot in Command or CoCaptain on all assigned flights, operating in accordance with company policies; FAA, ICAO, and local aviation regulations; and the Prospect Aviation Operations & Procedures Manual.
Conduct domestic and worldwide operations, including oceanic procedures and special qualification airports.
Coordinate with flight planning service provider to ensure trip readiness, including preflight planning, weather evaluation, weight and balance, flight routing, aircraft performance, and security considerations.
Oversee cabin preparation, catering coordination, passenger service expectations, and aircraft cleanliness.
Maintain a professional, discreet presence at all times with passengers and personnel.
Leadership & Crew Coordination
Lead and mentor junior crew members ensuring strong CRM.
Coordinate closely with the Chief Pilot, Chief of Maintenance, and flight department team on all operational matters.
Support training, procedural compliance, and departmental standards.
Safety & Compliance
Comply with and promote the department’s Safety Management System (SMS).
Ensure adherence to company procedures and all applicable regulations, including international requirements.
Participate in recurrent training, SMS activities, and department reviews as assigned.
Administrative Duties
Complete flight logs, expense reports, trip documentation, and all required forms accurately and promptly.
Assist with maintaining manuals, revisions, and operational materials as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
Heavy Corporate Jet Type Rating
Minimum 5,000 hours total time
Minimum 2,000 hours turbine PIC in fixedwing aircraft
Minimum 1,000 hours multiengine
Minimum 500 hours turbine time
Extensive international operations experience, including oceanic operations (North Atlantic Preferred)
Valid FAA First Class Medical
Valid passport with ability to travel worldwide without restrictions
FCC Radio Operator’s Permit
Preferred Qualifications
GVII Type Rating
Current 61.57 PIC simulator training
500 hours GVII (PIC time is preferred)
Gulfstream Experience
Preferred Attributes
