We are looking for a Chief Pilot for CFII.net, a community platform built by pilots to shape the future of aviation training. We are looking for an experience flight instructor or pilot with safety in mind to develop SOP's, structure and manage and mentor CFI's across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of pilots and aviation personnel, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious environment

• Ensure all flight operations comply with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other relevant legal standards

• Oversee flight planning, risk assessments, and operational procedures to guarantee safe and efficient journeys

• Maintain clear communication with crew members, air traffic control, and ground staff to coordinate flights seamlessly

• Uphold rigorous safety protocols through regular training sessions, audits, and performance evaluations

Experience

• Extensive experience in aviation leadership roles

• Proven ability to manage teams effectively in high-pressure environments

• Deep knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and international aviation standards

• Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with diverse stakeholders including crew, clients, and regulatory authorities

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

• Prior experience in managing complex flight operations within a dynamic aviation environment

• Recommended ATP pilots or commercial pilots
