Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Citation 550 Pilot to act as a safety pilot and co-pilot for an owner-flown Cessna Citation II. The aircraft owner is a pilot who has recently transitioned up from a Cessna 414 into the Citation 550.
We need a qualified professional who can provide a smooth transition, act as a safety set of eyes and hands in the cockpit, help manage single-pilot workload, and ensure the highest standards of safety during Part 91 operations out of the San Diego area.
Qualifications & Requirements
Jet Experience: Minimum of 500+ hours in jet aircraft.
Type Rating: Current or previous qualification/familiarity with the Citation 550 / Citation II series.
Certificates: FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (ATP preferred) with Instrument Rating and current First or Second Class Medical.
Background: Insurance-approved (or easily approvable) in the Citation 550. Previous experience flying turbine or jet aircraft is a massive plus.
Location: Locally based in the San Diego area preferred for flexible, on-demand local and regional trips.
