About Your Job: In this role, you will pre-plan the dispatching process, route study, fleet optimization and airport assessment to ensure conduct of a safe, efficient and economical flight. You will also perform route studies, schedule integrity for fleet optimisation and conduct airport assessments and performance calculations. You will also jointly evaluate crew flight duty period and prepare operational flight plans for Fleet Management. Specific accountabilities include: Study the route and request for decompression and drift down procedures Alert the sales department with NOTAMs, slot, parking affecting the proposed flight Brief the management with any critical sales enquiries Perform other duties in the department related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department All QE flights are operated within the framework of regulatory compliance Maintain operational economy and regularity Accountable to achieve seamless operational planning Priorities to align with and support business objectives About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum high school qualification and a Flight Dispatcher certificate or equivalent issued by a Regulatory Authority or approved institution. You should have minimum of five years relevant experience with prior knowledge of dispatching airbus/boeing or business jet aircraft. You should also have knowledge of EU-Ops/JAA/QCAA and a thorough knowledge of ETOPS, PACOTS and AUSOTS operations. You should have well-developed lateral and analytical thinking skills and have a good command of the english language (both written and spoken). You will also need to be effective in working within a highly pressured and dynamic operational aviation environment.
