We are seeking an experienced Captain to join our Corporate Aviation Team. The successful candidate will serve as Pilot-in-Command with responsibility for the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flights. He or she will ensure all flight and ground operations comply with company policies, SOPs and FAA regulations and are responsible for all flight planning and performance calculations, including the timely communication of any schedule interruption or flight cancellation. Candidates must demonstrate servant leadership and ensure exceptional customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Promote and maintain a safety culture consistent with company policy and industry best practices.
Comply with FAA regulations, department operating policies and standard operating procedures as described in the FOM.
Conduct all operations in a safe and professional manner to include, but not limited to, flight planning, aircraft performance/weight and balance calculations, interpretation and application of weather reports, forecasts and NOTAMS and development of contingency plans, as required.
Confirm passenger service arrangements prior to departure and coordinate any additional services that may become necessary during the trip.
Ensure that all permits, authorizations and required documents are onboard prior to flight.
Ensure aircraft pre-flight and post-flight inspections are performed.
Ensure fueling operations are monitored by a flight crew member.
Assist in the loading of baggage and cargo.
Communicate any flight delay or cancellation in a timely manner.
Complete post-trip documentation.
Perform other non-flying duties, as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
Requirements
FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
FAA First Class Medical Certificate
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
Valid Passport with no restrictions to international travel
Valid driver’s license
2000 hours total flight time
1000 hours turbojet
CE 525B type rating
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
No chargeable accidents or incidents.
Some overnight travel required.
Garmin 3000 Avionics Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in aviation/aeronautics or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in corporate or business aviation flight operations.
250 hours in a 525B.
Physical demands
Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequently sitting for long periods of time.
