Job Description
[Company] is looking to add an Aircraft Pilot. You will fly Rockwell leadership to customers, partners, and events globally. You will need to travel to Mitchell International Airport. You will report to the Manager of Flight Operations.
Ensures the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights.
Directs the activities of the Second-in-Command and ensures that all crewmembers understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform
Participates in the Safety Management System.
Ensures that the aircraft is airworthy and registered, and all required documentation is onboard the aircraft
Checks weather and all applicable NOTAMs where available, and determines fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements
Determines the aircraft weight and balance
Ensures databases are current
Ensures iPads are updated and adequately charged for the assigned flight
Ensures that all flight planning requirements have been met
Ensures that aircraft crewmembers have valid certificates, Medical Certificates, passports and visas, when required
Confirms any nonstandard environmental rules and procedures at the intended departure and destination airports
Completes an aircraft preflight inspection before each departure
Ensures the passengers have received a Passenger Safety Briefing
Operates the aircraft per the Flight Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists, and within aircraft limitations
Continually monitors the amount of usable fuel to ensure a safe landing with appropriate fuel reserves and communicates with ATC during abnormal situations
Ensures compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws.
Provides for the servicing, maintenance, and protection of the aircraft at all times while away from the home station
Coordinates with the Manager of Maintenance concerning any maintenance requirements
Records flight times and aircraft defects
Holds a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
Demonstrates English proficiency
Possesses an FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator's Permit
Possesses a valid automobile driver's license
Possesses a valid U.S. passport
Possesses a First Class FAA Medical Certificate and the ability to pass a company physical
Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Ability to travel internationally 20% of the time
Possesses a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, with 1,500 hours as PIC, 500 hours multi engine turbine, and 100 hours in company aircraft
Holds a type rating for at least one (1) of the types of aircraft operated, if applicable
Experience operating Challenger 600 series aircrafts
Oceanic experience
