The DC-8 Program of [redacted] has proven invaluable in taking relief supplies to areas hardest hit by disaster. Members of the aviation team are critical to the mission of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people around the world. The on-call Flight Attendants are essential as we transport people and provisions. This \"on-call\" position must maintain the utmost level of professionalism in both appearance and demeanor, and project a capable, friendly and confident personality with a strong customer-service focus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of in-flight service. Ensure compliance and consistency with Samaritan’s Purse flight attendant policy manual, in-flight service, safety standards and FAA regulations, including emergency procedures. Operate, unassisted, all exits onboard the aircraft in both emergency and normal mode. Complete all flight attendant duties and onboard service procedures. Purchase and stock supplies on aircraft for inflight service. Perform office duties as assigned. Clean and prepare aircraft for inflight service prior to departure. Clean and prepare aircraft upon arrival. Comply with Flight attendant Manual, company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to work extended shifts up to 16 hours in a day Able to adapt to schedule changes with flexibility as required Maintain proficiency and qualification as a line Flight Attendant on an annual basis Successfully complete all initial and recurrent Safety Training and other mandated training Able to work well with others Able to receive and follow instructions Maintain strong customer-service work ethic Project a friendly and confident personality May need to work in a wide variety of climatic conditions for extended periods of time including extreme heat and cold.
