Description
[redacted], Inc., one of the largest aircraft services companies in the Western United States, has an opening for a qualified Second Pilot to serve on late-model Pilatus PC-12 in Boise, Idaho and Seattle, Washington (for Orcas Island, Washington).
This contract position requires a commercial and ATF pilot certificate, valid passport, and first-class medical. Required minimum flight hours are 500 total flight hours; Turbine/Time in Type preferred. Commercial and ATP license within 1 year of employment required. Other requirements include Instrument Rating, First Class Medical, and Prior Part 135 experience.
Job Summary: Act as an On-Call Second Pilot of both Part 91 & Part 135 PC-12 flights, and includes overnight travel, weekend and holiday work.
Job Duties:
Pilatus PC12 Second Pilot flying both Part 91 & Part 135 flights
Assist Captain with in-flight operations
Assist passengers with boarding and cargo
Check passenger/cargo distribution
Record log book information (flight time, distance flown, fuel consumed, etc.)
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 500 hours’ total flight time
Turbine/Time in Type preferred
Commercial License, ATP license within 1 year of employment
Current First Class Medical
Prior Part 135 experience required
Flexible schedule to allow for overnight/weekend/holiday work
Ability to work at a fast pace, occasionally stressful environment, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and outstanding customer service
Consistently display professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal & written)
Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
