The Base Chief Pilot (BCP) reports directly to the System Chief Pilot and is responsible for exercising operational control in the interest of maintaining safety per the requirements of Operations Specifications in addition to being responsible for all administrative functions within the Domicile. The BCP will be familiar with all of the System Chief Pilot responsibilities in addition to the Essential Functions listed below. Essential Functions: Provide supervision for direct reports as well as all line pilots within the domicile. Recruit, interview and select pilot flight crewmembers as required by operational requirements. Discipline as required by company policy, FAR’s and pilot working agreement. Pilot contract administration. Provide liaison with FAA on all operational issues. Maintain Flight Operations Manual, Volume I and others as required. Assist HR in administering Frontier Pilot Drug Testing Program. Work with Crew Scheduling to ensure proper qualification and FAR legality of all pilots. Other Functions: Provide liaison with other departments as necessary to ensure safety and efficiency of flight operations.
