Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Domestic Flight Dispatcher to support our Flight Center Operations. This position will be based at our Corporate office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Purpose of Position: A Dispatcher works in the aviation operations office, using computers, calculators and weather charts. A 40-hour work week with shift work is standard, flexible hours are common. Shift hours and work days will include evenings, weekends and holidays. The Dispatcher frequently works under pressure, especially when the weather is bad, or aircraft have mechanical issues. They must make rapid decisions concerning safety, regulations, and economy of operations. This employee is surrounded by people, printers, telephones and intercom systems in a noisy, busy atmosphere. Major Duties/Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Provides highest level of service and safety for all flight crews, owners and employees by accomplishing feasibility analysis. Monitor slots, TFR, ATC, Weather monitoring and advising when trips are affected along with a plan of action for those effected trips. Briefing of crew members on upcoming flights. Special procedures such as DASSP, Mountain Ops, Event Notifications, Emergency Response Plan. Provide support functions for Flight Following, Crew Scheduling and Travel groups. Administrative duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications: FAA Flight Dispatcher License Bachelor\'s Degree in Aviation or Business Related Work Experience: 1+ years\' Good understanding of FAR\'s related to part 91 and 135 flights Operational Control required. If hired, Candidate will be expected to display and perform the skills necessary to obtain Operational Control and be required to pass an evaluation within twelve months of hire date to retain the position.
