DESCRIPTION We currently have an opening for Director of Aviation (DOA) overseeing a FAR 91/135 flight department, located in northwest Wisconsin. The DOA ensures safe, efficient, and professional operations of resources and is responsible for all aircraft operations including: flight operations, maintenance, and scheduling. QUALIFICATIONS Excellent business management skills coupled with 10 years of aviation experience and direct leadership experience. This position requires proven ability to effectively lead highly skilled aviation professionals while successfully communicating with executives and fully integrating the company’s core values throughout aviation operations. Must have Leadership experience with a focus on internal talent development. Must have operations, administrative, and compliance experience. Ability to build strong relationships and networks internally and externally Strong customer-service focus Ability to set strategic vision and effective implementation thereof. Challenger 350 and/or CE525 flight experience preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree; in Aviation Management or equivalent experience. FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate First Class Medical Certificate FCC Radiotelephone Operator Permit Valid Passport Ability to travel internationally and crossing experience Minimum 8000 Hrs Total Time preferred
