Role Description
The Chief Pilot will oversee and manage all flight operations and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. Responsibilities include supervising flight crews, conducting safety and training initiatives, and maintaining operational readiness. The role involves creating and enforcing standard operating procedures and working closely with the Director of Operations to ensure the safety and efficiency of flight operations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within aviation, including supervisory capabilities and team management.
Extensive knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety standards, and Part 135 operations.
Strong skills in flight operations management, crew scheduling, and compliance documentation.
Proficiency in using aviation-specific software and tools to manage operations.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills to ensure safe and efficient operations.
ATP certificate with type ratings in a range of business aircraft is highly desirable.
Experience working with a Part 145 Repair Station is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, or a related field preferred.
