Position Summary
[Company] Charter Airways is seeking a highly experienced and professional Pilot-in-Command (PIC) for our Bombardier Global 7500. The successful candidate will conduct domestic and international operations, serving as captain on long-range, ultra-long-haul missions while maintaining strict adherence to company SOPs and Transport Canada regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Pilot-in-Command on the Bombardier Global 7500
Conduct operations in compliance with CARs 604 / 704, company SOPs, and Transport Canada standards
Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations worldwide
Exercise sound aeronautical decision-making and leadership
Supervise and mentor flight crew, promoting strong CRM and safety culture
Coordinate with flight operations, maintenance, and dispatch
Maintain operational readiness, currency, and training requirements
Provide a high level of passenger service while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
Minimum Qualifications
Transport Canada ATPL (Aeroplane)
Total Time: 5,000+ hours
Multi-Engine: 2,500+ hours
Jet Time: 2,000+ hours
PIC Time: 2,000+ hours (large cabin preferred)
Extensive international, oceanic, RVSM, and long-range experience
Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability
Legal right to work in Canada
Clean safety record with no history of accidents, incidents, or regulatory enforcement actions
Preferred Qualifications
Previous CARs 604 or 704 operational experience
Global 7500 type rating (PIC preferred; experienced SICs may be considered)
Global series aircraft experience
Experience in charter or high-end client operations
Strong leadership, CRM, and SMS knowledge
Experience operating into high-density and international destinations
